We gladly accept returns on full-priced items within 21 days of purchase, as long as the items are in their original condition with tags attached.

Returned items must be unworn, unused and in original condition with all tags and packaging intact.

Your return must be lodged and returned within 21 days from the date of purchase.

  • Refunds to the original payment method are eligible on full-priced styles only.
  • Full-price items can be returned for a refund, credit note or exchange within 21 days of purchase, including those purchased using a welcome discount code.
  • Sale items are not eligible for a refund. All discounted styles marked as "sale" on the product page or discounted during a flash/promotional sale with a code or automatic discount can be returned for a credit note or exchange only within 21 days of purchase.
  • Final sale items are non-refundable and cannot be returned or exchanged, unless deemed faulty. Final sale items are marked as ‘final sale’ on the product page.

If your return does not comply with these conditions, your items will not be accepted for a return. Returns made after the 21-day return window will not be accepted (unless delayed due to postage and handling).

Note: All domestic returns will incur a return shipping fee, calculated in the returns portal.

Please note, all shipping costs associated with your order are non-refundable.

To process your return, you’ll need:

  • Order number: found in your order confirmation email (starts with AU#).
  • Email address: used to place the order.
  • Click here to start your return process.

Ensure to include the AU# at the start of your order number when submitting your return.

Our standard returns policy applies to International customers (outside of Australia).

International customers are responsible for managing and covering the cost of return shipping. We strongly recommend using a trackable service to monitor your return’s progress.

We happily offer exchanges for an alternate size, colour, or style within 21 days from purchase.

To exchange for an alternate style, use our ‘Shop Now’ feature in the returns portal and receive a $10 bonus credit to put towards your new item/s.

Please note, that customers are responsible for any additional costs incurred when exchanging items.

Stock cannot be held for exchanges. In the event the item requested sells out, you will be issued a store credit (minus shipping fees, where applicable).

Credit notes are valid for three years from issue date, and will be emailed to you with a unique code to redeem online. If you have purchased an item using a credit note, you will be issued a new credit note as a return.

Refunds will be processed to the original payment method for the value of the returned item/s after discounts, excluding shipping fees.

Final sale refers to items that are marked down during a special offer, or are marked to clear. Item/s marked as "final sale" on the product page are non-refundable and cannot be returned or exchanged, unless in the event of the item being faulty.

If final sale items are returned despite this policy, items will be sent back to you at an additional charge.

If you received a gift-with-purchase item, you must return it in its original, unopened condition along with your LOC item. Failing to return the gift-with-purchase in its original condition will result in its value being deducted from your return amount.

Please allow up to 3 business days for your return to be processed once your item has been received by our warehouse team. You will receive an email when our team has received your return and again when your return is processed.

All items are quality controlled to a high standard before dispatch, but if you receive an item that is not 100% right or incorrect, please contact us at love@lackofcolor.com.au with your order number and images of the fault or issue and we will work with you to resolve it as soon as possible. 

Please note, that we do not consider natural fiber flaws such as flecking, weave variations and loose straw ends as faulty. Any items caused as a result of normal wear and tear; failure to use in accordance with our care instructions; or through misuse will not be considered faulty.
